MEET THE BLKDOG DANCERS Stoa, Helsinki Festival and UrbanApa Festival invite advanced and professional street dancers to two shared sessions with Joshua Shanny Wynter and Larissa Koopman, performers from Botis Seva's acclaimed production BLKDOG. The Olivier Award-winning work is one of the most internationally recognised hip hop dance theatre productions of recent years and will be presented at Helsinki Festival in September. Language: English Price: Free SESSION 1 📅 Sat 29 August, 18.00–21.30 📍Stoa Join us for the Next Step performance at UrbanApa Festival (a mentorship and exchange platform for local street dancers initiated in spring 2026) and a discussion with the BLKDOG dancers about artistic practice, the future of street dance and the journeys that have taken street dance from grassroots culture to major international stages. SESSION 2 📅 Tue 1 September 📍 The Finnish National Opera • 60 min class • 60 min rehearsal observation • 20 min Q&A Join the company's morning training session and gain insight into the artistic process behind BLKDOG.
